Igniting the Spark of Transformation, Training Consortium is a leadership development and HR consulting firm. We help organisations grow by growing the people who lead them.

We were founded in Colombo in 1999 on a simple premise: a consultant succeeds only when the client’s results improve. In 2022 we opened Training Consortium Global in Singapore. Today we serve clients from Singapore, Colombo and Dubai, and online across the world.

Our work runs from the individual to the whole organisation. We coach senior leaders one to one, run management and executive development programmes, build mentoring systems, and advise on HR strategy, succession and culture.

Every engagement begins with diagnosis, through 360-degree feedback, psychometric profiling and conversations with the people involved. We then design for that organisation alone, coach alongside the learning, bring each leader’s supervisor into the process, and measure what has changed.

We keep strict confidentiality and work to the International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics.

Our coaching and mentoring process is very straightforward with 3 simple phases.

Talk

Tell us what you need. We listen, ask questions and, where useful, run a short diagnosis. You receive a proposal built for your situation.

Train

We deliver the coaching, programme or consulting work, with clear goals, regular reviews and the involvement of the people who matter to the outcome.

Thrive

When the formal work ends, the change has to hold. We review progress months later and stay available as a sounding board.

Our Philosophy

We stay close to current research and use technology where it helps, from online assessments to an AI-supported coaching platform. The work itself always rests on honest conversation, confidentiality and respect.
